Climate x Health
Amid the surge of interest and engagement in the lead up to COP28 and the first-ever Health Day in December 2023, Wellcome Trust, The Rockefeller Foundation, the Global Climate & Health Alliance and Amref Health Africa co-convened the Climate x Health initiative to support more coordinated, strategic global advocacy across sectors, countries, and issue areas represented in the climate and health landscape.
Based on feedback from early consultations (April-June 2023), in its first phase, Climate x Health has primarily aimed to build on, complement, and amplify the ongoing efforts of longstanding climate and health actors by:
Co-creating a shared big picture narrative to align and inspire action
Elevating the work, perspectives, and calls to action of key champions, including through climate x health small grants
Expanding and diversifying participation in global climate & health efforts
Offering forums and support to coordinate strategies and activities across the growing landscape, particularly as new organizations come on board
Sign up for updates on opportunities to get involved, including through a forum where partners can exchange resources, insights, and ways to take action.
